College Reunion

Last Saturday I went to my friend Brian's surprise 30th birthday. I thought he lived in Louisville.. but it's actually in the middle of no-where in Crestwood in the middle of several cookie-cutter subdivisions. The directions were more complicated than they would be to my house and I live in the middle of the woods!

Anyway. He had no idea about the party. Everyone parked there cars in other places so he thought he was coming home to an empty house and his wife. What he got was a house full of about 30 people!

The picture above has several of my college gang in it. We were all in SGA together. Two were even Board of Trustee members.

It was great seeing everyone again. We keep up a little on email, but some of the people there I hadn't seen in YEARS. For instance, one guy is in med school at Vanderbuilt studying Neurosurgery. Amazing! One guy is going after his Ph. D. in Education. Another is a project manager for Berry Plastics and personally deals with execs from Disney, Kraft, Mc D's and many other big companies.

I'm not surprised this group is doing wonderful things. They were all great student leaders and we got along great.
